Accommodations at Casa Portal Retreats support retreat living — shared, intentional, and grounded in comfort rather than excess.

Guests stay in the farmhouse, or cabins depending on retreat format.

THE farmHOUSE

the main farm guesthouse is a restored 1840s farmhouse and serves as the heart of Casa Portal Retreats.

It includes 7 bedrooms with 12 newly furnished beds, 4 shared all-gender bathrooms, porches, dining areas, living rooms, in house studio, library, and quiet corners. Bedding, towels, soaps, and linens are provided. There are no en-suite bathrooms due to the farmhouse nature of the design. Bathrooms are located both upstairs and downstairs and are newly renovated.

The guesthouse is the main lodging space for all groups and is where all meals are served and held. The guesthouse can be made up of single and double occupancy based on your group. Pricing starts at $325.00 per person per night and includes meals, programming, and accommodations. There is a 10 person minimum to reserve the guesthouse.

meadow CABINS

Our four A-frame cabins sit tucked into the meadows, close enough to the farmhouse to feel part of the retreat and far enough away to offer a little space of your own. They’re simple by design, with solar-powered lighting and a chance to settle into the quieter rhythm of the farm.

Cell reception is available in the cabins, but there is no Wi-Fi. The cabins have outdoor solar-powered bathroom facilities and outdoor showers, and guests have full use of the farmhouse facilities throughout their stay.

Food is a big part of the experience here. Chef Pete creates a farm-to-table menu for each retreat, drawing on what’s in season, what’s growing on the farm, and ingredients from local producers. His cooking reflects the places he’s lived and traveled, so the menu is never quite the same twice.

The per-person nightly rate includes three meals a day, plus afternoon tea and snacks. We’ll work with retreat leaders ahead of time to understand their group’s dietary needs.
